Not sure why, but I have so much fun posting the yearly pictures to see how much they have changed..... Growing up way too fast! And on a side note, Meemi & Poppee get the prize - they took the girls for their pictures during grandparents week & that is the best shot of both of them smiling on a character's lap EVER!

Easter Bunny Pics
Not sure why, but I have so much fun posting the yearly pictures to see how much they have changed..... Growing up way too fast! We spent Easter lunch with our community group friends and had a little Easter egg hunt in their backyard. It was fun to actually 'hide' the eggs a bit more than the big Easter egg hunt at the park where it is just a bunch of eggs scattered all over the ground. Mackenzie did VERY well hunting - that girl is on a mission when there is candy in eggs all over the backyard! Keelyn, once again, picked up about one or two and was satisfied - and immediately wanted to open and eat her prizes!
M is ready to hunt!
Found one!
Can she reach?!?
Keelyn found one, and is done hunting, ready to eat!
Cutie pie, basket half as big as she is!
Halfway decent family shot :)
All Dressed Up
A few pictures from church with everyone in their Easter dresses. My children were of course, not in the mood for pictures......but we got a couple decent ones :)
Sweet big sister trying to help sissy turn her head for the camera!
The sippy cup helps! Showing off their dresses Granmommy made :)

Catchin' Up & Easter Baskets
Okay, this blog thing is a lot like exercising.....if you're in the habit of posting every day, you keep on doing it. Stop it for a day or two, then suddenly it's a week, then weeks, since you've posted! Trying to get back on track tonight....... Here's some of our Easter pics. We woke up on Easter, and the girls had to find their Easter baskets left by the Easter bunny (a McKay tradition to actually hide them! Although, this year, they were just barely hidden :)).

Easter Fun Begins....
We had quite a few fun Easter hunting activities leading up to Easter. Mackenzie really knew what to do this year - and was pretty good at hunting! Her first 'event' was at her preschool party. They had made little bunny hats for their craft that day and wore them on their hunt. It was too cute.

Ready, set.....GO!
Love this picture! And I love this age, when she's SOOO happy
to have me come to her school parties!

Valentine's Day
We've had a very busy Valentine's Day this year (I'm worried this is a sign of years to come!). It was a lot of fun, but I was sure worn out from all the fun. It started yesterday with making Valentine's cookies, then last night with making our class Valentine's (I blame Pinterest for making me want to do more than the simple grocery store Valentines!), then pink heart pancakes for breakfast (note to self: fancy breakfasts are not recommended for people who run late even when they have yogurt for breakfast!), and then finally ending with the school party (which just so happened to be the school party I was helping with - all parents must help with one during the year.....). But, now as I sit on my couch, I'm so glad we had a big day. I love my Valentine's & though I can (& do I think!) show it each day, I like having some extra special fun on this day!
