Last Saturday, on top of all of our moving, we took a break to go celebrate "Baby" Jackson's first birthday. It was such a beautiful fall day & it was good to get away from the moving chaos for a little while. Jackson was not shy of his cake at all, and after a slow start, truly destroyed his smash cake - I think more than any other one year old I've witnessed! Mackenzie had a good time exploring the beautiful park area where they had the party. And she
has been reminiscing about the party this week when I occasionally catch her singing "Happy Birthday to Jackson" to herself as she plays. It's really cute! And when I ask her about the party - she remembers the cake! Seems she & Jackson definitely enjoy their desserts :)

Mackenzie put away a good bit of cake herself.....she was supposed to share with daddy, but he was talking and turned back to see that about 3/4 of the cake was GONE!
