Last Trip to the Mountain Property

Back to Reality!
Well, I'm behind on the blogging, but that's because our house was without little feet running through it for a whole week! I was enjoying some 'Me' time, that's for sure! It was a long time coming, 17 months without a night away from my littlest! I got some extra sleep, got a few projects done, and remembered that I really do still like hanging out with my husband! Two years of 'Grandparents Camp' (this year the first for Keelyn) and I think this is definitely going to become an annual thing! Now to catch up on the blog...... Here's a few pictures at the park with daddy the week before they left:

Daddy Daughter Dance
This weekend, we had great plans. A trip to Lake Lanier with our community group. Renting a lake house. And on Saturday night, the daddies would take the big girls to a daddy daughter Valentines dance. One dad looked long and hard for a dance that wasn't just in a school gym. This one was at the Lake Lanier Grand Resort. He even bought scroll invitations from the "king" to the ball for the girls. Too cute. But, as is life with little ones, 2 out of the 4 families was struck down with illness. (luckily, our family was not one of them!). So, while we had to cancel the lake house, the daddies still drove up for the dance on Saturday night and had a marvelous time! It was so fun seeing the girls all dressed up for their date. I think this may become an annual thing (and hopefully all the girls will get to go next year!). A few pictures:

Looking so pretty (I couldn't resist dressing Keelyn up a little too for the pre-dance pictures!)
Ready for their date!

Spring Has Sprung!
I couldn't get Mackenzie to pose for me to commemorate our little picnic, so I first just took a picture of Daddy. Then, when I handed Keelyn to Daddy and said I would just take a picture of
Keelyn - suddenly she wants in the picture! (I'm getting some mileage out of taking pictures of
Keelyn to get Mackenzie in the picture these days :P ). However, she still didn't want to look at the camera for this one..... Oh well, I like this picture anyways :)

At the Mountains
Two weekends ago (and the beginning of over a week of BEAUTIFUL weather here) Brannon took Mackenzie up to our mountain property to play & hang out (and also gave me a big break having 5 or so hours with just one kid....amazing how easy one kid seems nowadays!). We bought this property years ago, and don't use it much since having kids so we often debate if we should sell it (if we even could sell it these days.....) but now Mackenzie is getting to an age where she's gonna be fun to take up there & man is it beautiful up there.....maybe we'll hold on to it! Here's a couple videos daddy took.

Look Alikes
When I got up on our first Saturday at home as a family (I got to sleep in with Keelyn due to having three other adults in the house that first weekend!), I found my two look alikes watching a little Saturday morning TV together. Aren't they the cutest?? (well, there is one other person in this cute category but she was with me & not in the pic!).Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Daddy's Girl
Here's a few fun shots I shot of Brannon & his little girl at the cabin shortly before heading home. IT was a fun weekend, and hard to believe, it was our last little getaway as a family of three. Before we know it, we'll have F-O-U-R of us to pack up & take places. The adventure awaits....... Until then, here's the daddy & his only child for a little bit longer:
