We had Mackenzie's friend, Mady Kay (and her parents!) over for dinner last weekend. It worked well because going out to eat, Keelyn is getting fussy/ready for bed around 7:30 and dinner is usually just getting going. So, instead, this time we ordered takeout from a favorite local Thai place and ate at the house & when Keelyn got fussy, I put her down & then we kept hanging out afterwards. It was nice! And M & MK thoroughly enjoyed getting to stay up late and watch a movie together while the parents talked. I couldn't resist a picture (okay pictures!). These two are just the cutest!
